The 31-year-old star has been drafted intothe squad as a late replacement for South African Test stalwart MarkBoucher, who is unable to play after suffering a broken finger.According to a press release from the Nottinghamshire CCC, Mongia willline up in the Superkings of Cricket match on June 30 when Sir RichardHadlee and Sir Garfield Sobers manage teams of current world stars.This will be followed on Sunday, July 1 by a World Cricket Masterschallenge match between Graham Gooch¹s England and Allan Border¹sAustralia.Mongia is a veteran of 140 One Day Internationals and has been aregular in the Indian international set-up since taking over fromKiran More in the mid 90s.
