Since Todd Boehly took over the club, Chelsea's search for the perfect striker has not been entirely successful. Christopher Nkunku was sidelined for much of last season and Nicolas Jackson, although he had his moments, failed to perform consistently in front of goal and new boss Enzo Maresca is clearly in the market for a frontman.
